Meet Natalie, My Youngest Student
At just 10 years old, Natalie became the youngest student ever to attend Geary Whiting’s Equine Massage Academy, joining her mother for a truly unique experience.
Initially skeptical about her age, I was quickly impressed by her quiet determination and keen focus. Absorbing the material with youthful passion, she mastered all six equine massage techniques with remarkable ease, leaving me in awe of her ability and dedication.
Since completing the program, Natalie has continued to shine. Not only does she apply equine massage to her own horses, but she also enthusiastically shares its benefits—both for horses and humans—within her local horse community. Her passion has paid off, as she’s built an impressive client base for her equine massage business, showcasing her potential as a rising star in the field.
Natalie’s enthusiasm proved transformative for her family as well. When her father, Joe, suffered a debilitating back injury and couldn’t get out of bed despite chiropractic care, Natalie applied the human massage techniques learned at the academy. Remarkably, within 45 minutes, Joe could move, turn his head, and bend with ease, turning his skepticism into firm belief in the power of her training.
Six months later, Natalie’s progress remains extraordinary. As one of the most enthusiastic students I’ve seen, she approaches her equine massage business with a youthful belief that anything is possible. With 15 happy clients already, Natalie, alongside her mother, Colleen, continues to inspire her community, helping horses feel their best through her newfound passion and skill.
